Area Forum
An Area Forum brings together representatives from a broad range of local community and voluntary organisations and individuals representing particular interest groups to identify and address the needs and concerns of local areas.  A Forum has been set up in each secondary school catchment area.

Citizen's Panel
A Citizens' Panel is made up of a representative sample of local people across Moray (around 1200), who are asked to provide their opinions about the efficiency and effectiveness of local services and how they might be improved.

Community Engagement
This is about encouraging and supporting local people to participate and be involved in decisions about local services and, in some cases, the delivery of such services.

Community Learning and Development
This is about promoting and supporting informal learning and social development work with individuals and groups in their communities.  The aim of this work is to strengthen communities by improving people's knowledge, skills and confidence, organisational ability and resources.

Community Planning
Community Planning is a process whereby a local authority and other local agencies including community, voluntary, public and private sector organisations come together to develop and implement a shared vision for promoting the well-being of their area.

Community Planning Board
The Community Planning Board facilitates agreement between partners on the strategic priorities of the area and scrutinises the performance of the Partnership.

Community Regeneration
Community regeneration is the process of tackling poverty, deprivation and social exclusion in a particular geographic area or within a particular group of people.

Corporate Branding
The corporate brand links the many and varied plans, strategies and initiatives, which make up Community Planning, so that they are all recognised and promoted as part of the Community Planning process.

Datasharing
Datasharing concerns the exchange of statistical and other information (covering health, crime, employment etc) among partner organisations to enable the Community Planning Partnership to have a better knowledge and understanding of the needs and concerns of people in Moray.

Local Community Network
A Local Community Network brings together a wide range of representatives from agencies and organisations working with and on behalf of children, young people and families to seek innovative solutions to local concerns.  There are 8 networks each covering the geographic area served by each of the secondary schools in Moray.

Performance Indicators
Performance indicators are a set of standards or measurements against which the Community Planning Partnership can measure its performance over time.

Single Outcome Agreement
The Single Outcome Agreement sets out how the Community Planning Partnership will work together to deliver agreed national and local outcomes and be held accountable for their delivery.

Social Justice
Social justice is about the equal and fair distribution of social values, such as freedom, income and wealth and the opportunity to take part in society.

Stakeholders
Stakeholders are anyone with an interest or involvement in the successful achievement of the aims and objectives of Community Planning.

Theme Groups
The Theme Groups are responsible for addressing a number of strategic priorities to achieve specified national outcomes within the Single Outcome Agreement.
